This is truly one for seafood lovers, but there are also some great meat and poultry dishes on the menu. You'll be happy as Larry if you're lucky enough to get a spot on the balcony overlooking the Marina, but get there early because it's one of the most sought after possies in town.

LOCATION
Pesci's on the Water is located in the Pier Marina and is the only waterfront licensed restaurant in Cairns.

DETAILS
Pesci's serves up an excellent selection of fresh seafood provided by the region's local trawlers. A selection of meats, free-range poultry and delicious homemade pasta is also available. Cosy up inside, or sit out on the balcony where you'll be entertained by the energy of the Marina below. The balcony has been completely weather- proofed with the wet season in mind. Large glass windows can be opened to let in the sea breeze or closed to stop the rain. The outdoor dining area can seat up to 140 patrons. Pesci's indoor dining area can seat up to 80 in air-conditioned comfort.

The bar area is sleek and comfortable and has been designed for pre and post dinner drinks, but the friendly atmosphere, a good selection of wines by the glass and the view make it a destination all on its own.

Snack menu is available all day. Restaurant serves dinner from 5.30 pm
